What are the Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning?

It could be classified to three (3) parties:

1. Mechanical

Pre-commissioning:
1. alignment of skid base and rotating machines
2. flushing and fill-up any oils

Commissioning:
1. uncoupled motor test
2. functional operating of packages
3. loadt test crane
4. final closure the vessels
5. preservation.

2. Electrical

Pre-com:
1. calibrate the HV/LV protection relays
2. perform primary current injection to SWGR, MCC and control panels
3. insulation test, conductor test, polarity test of gnerator, transformer, HV/LV SWGR and MCC.

Commissioning:
1. functional test protection devices of HV/LV SWGR and MCC
2. functional operation of packages
3. uncoulped motor test
4. crank and sequence of rotating machines
5. functional test battery charger, UPS, batteries.
6. functional test thyristor control panels
7. energize lighting and receptacles
8. preservation

3. Instrument and Control

Pre-Com:
1. loop check
2. Logic function

Commissioning:
1. functional test ICSS
